Hacking FaceBook:
Many of you must have tried few many software to hack facebook. You may have searched on google and youtube. Like by changing HTML, JavaScript on going to forget a password and right clicking and selecting to inspect element. That's not gonna help. Indeed it's neither an easy task to hack facebook and nor impossible. But it's hard. Today I'm going to share an idea about making a clone of facebook and using that clone within the same network. This method is called credential harvesting. Let's get into it then:
Kali Linux has many tools. One of them is se-toolkit ( so called social engineering toolkit). Using se-toolkit you can create a clone of a website that can be sent to your friend within the same network.
Follow these steps:
- Open terminal and type setoolkit. This is pre-installed in your Linux operating system.
- Now, you can see that we have 2 main options. This includes Social-Engineering Attacks and Fast-Track Penetration Testing. Today we're going to making a clone so we shall type 1 to select the first option. Now, it will lead you to the following window:
- You can see that there are 10 options here. Since we are focusing on facebook website we must type 2 i.e Website Attack Vectors. This means we are critically attacking a specific website only.
- We will be selecting Credential Harvester Attack Method because we just want to obtain the credential information of the victim/user. It's the third option so you ought to type 3.
- Here you can see that there is an option called Site Cloner. This is the main procedure of today's blog. Cloning means making a duplicate of a specific website. This allows us to clone the login page of very popular websites like gmail.com, facebook.com, yahoo.com, and so on.
- This leads to the following window:
- Here it asks you to enter your IP address. If you don't know the IP address then open a new terminal and type ifconfig.
- Copy your IP address and write in above asked window.
- Now it will ask you to enter the URL of the website of whose you want to clone. In this case, we will be writing www.facebook.com.
- You can see that the process of cloning has begun and now your machine is waiting to capture credentials of the victim. Now, you can use websites that shorten your IP address. This because when sending a message to your friend you can hide your IP address. For this, you can use bitly.com, goo.gl, tinyurl.com, ow.ly, adf.ly. After you shorten your IP address send it to your friend within the same network. After he/she opens it, your link opens as:
Note: Before sending URL to your friend make sure that you move three files in HTML. You may not understand this so let me navigate you to the folder I'm saying. Go to Computer and click to var and in that folder go to www. There you will see 4 files including HTML. You should cut remaining 3 files and paste it inside into HTML folder.
- Once he/she writes his/her email and password you will receive that email and password in the same window which you have used to make a clone.
- Or you also can see victim's email and password in the harvester file that you cut and pasted before.
